Liverpool target Josko Gvardiol quashed suggestions he could leave RB Leipzig this summer.
The Reds have endured a tumultuous season. Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently languishing in sixth place, some seven points adrift of a Champions League spot, while they are eliminated from all three cup competitions.
In turn, the Reds have been tipped to be busy in the summer transfer market.

The likes of Jude Bellingham and Mason Mount have been linked, while Gvardiol is thought to be one of Klopp’s preferred options at centre-back.
However, earlier this month the Athletic claimed that while Liverpool’s recruitment team “admire” the Croatian international, they are “unlikely” to sign him this summer.
The publication alleged that the Reds have bigger transfer priorities, and are likely to focus on strengthening their midfield.
Moreover, given the competition for Gvardiol’s signature and the probable size of the fee required to sign the 21-year-old, the centre-back is allegedly unlikely to move to Anfield.

And Gvardiol has now also insisted he will not be leaving Leipzig in the coming window.
Gvardiol on Leipzig future
Gvardiol bluntly dismissed suggestions he will leave Leipzig in the summer transfer window.
The centre-back said in a recent interview with Net HR via Liverpool World: “RB Leipzig is not interested in selling me this summer, there is no point in talking about anything else.”

Indeed, Sky Sports Germany reported Florian Plettenberg also stressed that the Bundesliga club wanted to keep the player until at least 2024.
Writing on Twitter, Plettenberg said: “Leipzig bosses definitely want to keep him until 2024!
“They are not considering a sale in summer. We understand that an offer of around €100m wouldn’t change their mind.
“Many clubs interested: Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool …”
