Liverpool defender Joel Matip has been pictured in a 2023/24 home kit - providing a potential clue that he will stay at the club this summer despite transfer speculation.
The Cameroon centre-back signed for the Reds on a free transfer from Schalke in 2016, and has played an important role for Jurgen Klopp's side since his arrival.
He played 90 minutes in the 2019 Champions League final as Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0, and received a Premier League medal the following year despite being restricted to nine appearances.

Injuries have played their part, however, during Matip's Anfield stint, which has restricted his overall game time. This season, the defender has made just 13 Premier League appearances for Liverpool.
The 31-year-old has been linked with a move away from the club, with Football Insider claiming in February that the Reds were planning to allow him to leave if a suitable offer came in for his services.
He has made just two Premier League starts since the beginning of March despite being fully fit in that time, further increasing speculation that he could be on the move.

But a new club photoshoot suggests that may not necessarily be the case.
Matip pictured in Liverpool kit
The Reds announced their 2023/24 home kit last week. The shirt features all-white outlines around the collar and sleeves, in what is a throwback to old-school Liverpool home kits of the 1970s.
And on Wednesday, the club released a photoshoot to their official website, showing current Liverpool stars wearing the new home shirt.
The long-serving quartet of Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Jordan Henderson and Andrew Robertson are all pictured, along with new additions Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo. Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott are also involved in the shoot.

Alongside them in the gallery is Matip, who is shown holding an old-school camera in his hands as he has his photo taken.
The inclusion of the image may suggest that the club have no plans to allow the Cameroonian, who turns 32 prior to the start of the 2023/24 campaign, to leave this summer as manager Jurgen Klopp begins his rebuild.
