Real Madrid are believed to be ready to challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City in their pursuit of Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka, according to reports.
The 20-year-old was bound to be linked with a move away from north London amid Arsenal’s failure to qualify for the Champions League, and he’s attracting the attention of Europe’s elite. With 2 years left on his contract, Arsenal have a task on their hands to keep Saka at the club.
Saka enjoyed his best Premier League season to date last term, bagging 11 goals and 7 assists. It was a transformative campaign for the youngster, establishing himself as Arsenal’s clear talisman. Thus, teams would reportedly have to lodge a bid of in and around £90 million to tempt Arsenal to the negotiation table.

While Liverpool’s interest in the England international is believed to be tentative according to 90 Min, they’ll be keeping a watchful eye on Real Madrid’s pursuit. If Saka is to leave Arsenal, every top club in world football will be interested in acquiring his services, and Liverpool won’t want to miss out.
Saka would be a more than useful addition to Carlo Ancelotti’s team in the Spanish capital. Playing on his favoured right flank, he’d help to form a very balanced front three alongside Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema. It’s easy to see why Madrid are keeping tabs on him.
As for Arsenal, they’ll be doing all they can to keep their star man. The Evening Standard report the Gunners are ready to open contract talks with the youngster as soon as possible. Arsenal must persuade Saka the club are continuing to move in the right direction and offer him a significant pay rise if he is to extend with the Emirates Stadium club.
Liverpool, on the other hand, appear to have their eyes fixated elsewhere regarding the transfer market right now. Reports suggest they have launched their first bid for free-scoring Benfica talent Darwin Nuñez. Such reports are indicative of Liverpool’s only timid interest in Saka who will likely stay at Arsenal this summer.
