Much to Jurgen Klopp's displeasure, Tchouameni moved to the Bernabeu last summer, signing from Ligue 1 side Monaco.
But the 23-year-old has struggled for regular game time as of late, prompting Liverpool to rekindle their interest.

While the uncertainty surrounding Tchouameni's situation has reportedly led Liverpool to consider a loan, as Klopp looks to refresh his ageing midfield.

In April, Liverpool stuck a pin in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Bellingham due to the huge transfer fees involved.
Real Madrid have now emerged as frontrunners to sign him this summer which could have an affect on Tchouameni's plans.
Klopp is thought to remain a huge admirer of the midfielder, and would be open to a loan move should the opportunity arise.
However, 90min report that Ancelotti could block any potential loan, believing that Tchouameni is content in his current role.
