Spanish side Alaves are looking to sign Liverpool defender Anderson Arroyo on loan next season, according to outlet El Correo.
The 2001 UEFA Cup finalists are confident they can persuade the 22-year-old to join them in the second tier of Spanish football.
However, they are likely to face competition from Elche for his signature.

He spent last season at the same level with Mirandes, but has yet to have any opportunity to play for the Reds due to work permit issues.
Arroyo joined Liverpool in 2018 from Fortaleza in his native Colombia, and has spent time across Europe in numerous loan spells.
Campaigns with Mallorca B, Gent, Mlada Boleslav and Salamanca (preceding Mirandes) have aided his development, and despite his issues he wants to play for his parent club one day.
"Liverpool have always been attentive to me while out on loan,” he told liverpool.com in an interview earlier this year.

"I want to establish myself in European football and hopefully one day stay at Liverpool."
Arroyo is mostly known as a full-back, but has featured in the centre of defence for Mirandes this campaign.
He believes that if he came back to Liverpool, he could feature in both roles.
"The truth is that I really like playing as a full-back and as a central defender."

"At the moment, I feel very good and comfortable playing as a central defender here. It's difficult to say what position I see myself playing in if I were to return to Liverpool."
"I think I would feel comfortable in either of the two positions that the manager will need me in because I like them and I am happy defending and I also like to go forward.”
Arroyo has featured alongside compatriot Luis Diaz previously, as they both featured in the Colombia Under-20’s side at the Copa America in 2017.
The aspiration will still be there for the technical defender to reach the first-team at Anfield.

However, unless he heavily impresses during his loan spell and his work permit issues are sorted, it remains a distant and fond one.
