Liverpool are interested in Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey amid Trent Alexander-Arnold’s poor form.
The Reds have had a woeful season so far. Jurgen Klopp’s side are languishing in sixth place in the Premier League, seven points adrift of the top four and some 16 points from league leaders Arsenal.
Indeed, last season’s Champions League finalists have already suffered five league defeats with only 17 games played - which is more than they lost in three of the past four seasons.

Liverpool’s form has been severely affected by a series of injuries to key players while a number of stars have been out of sorts.
Indeed, much has been made of Alexander-Arnold’s defensive frailties for the Merseyside club, but his attacking talents are unquestionable. However, the fullback has looked like a shadow of his former self this term, having recorded just one assist to date.
For context, the 23-year-old has hit double figures for assists in three of his past four seasons.

According to reports, Liverpool are now in the market for a new right-back, who would provide competition for the England star.
Liverpool linked with Sacha Boey
According to A Spor, Liverpool want to sign Galatasaray right-back Boey, who is also being pursued by Crystal Palace.
The Lions, who are currently in the Süper Lig title race, reportedly want to keep Boey over the winter transfer window. In turn, they have set a £17million valuation for the Frenchman, who is under contract until 2025.

However, at the right price, the Istanbul-based club would be open to selling Boey in the summer.
The 22-year-old was signed for just £1million from French side Rennes last summer but has been a major success in Turkey, registering two assists in his 15 appearances.
