Liverpool have agreed a deal with Rangers for the transfer of Ben Davies.
Times journalist Paul Joyce has reported that the defender will join the Scottish club for a fee of £4m.
Davies moved to Anfield in early 2021, when the Reds were suffering a major shortage of defenders.

At the time, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip were all out injured.
Manager Jurgen Klopp was full of praise when he first arrived on Merseyside.

“He’s a really good footballer, looks like a proper leader in this Preston team, good in challenges, looks football smart, can play different positions because he played in a back three and a back four and all these things.
“That makes him really interesting so I’m really looking forward to working with him."
However, the 26-year old has never managed to make an appearance.
The defender is currently on £60,000 per week at Anfield and has three years left on his deal.

Rangers will likely be funding the transfer through the sale of Calvin Bassey, who is on the verge of joining Dutch champions Ajax.
Reports state Bassey has landed in Amsterdam ahead of a £19m move. He is expected to join the Eredivisie champions on a four-year deal.
