Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has revealed, as per sources, further details of a meeting between Liverpool star Roberto Firmino and Jurgen Klopp.
Plettenberg reported on Friday that Firmino had told Klopp in a meeting that he wanted to leave Liverpool after eight years at the club.
The Brazilian's contract expired this summer, and Klopp had previously stated publicly that he wished for Firmino to remain at Anfield.

Plettenberg explained: "Today, there was a training session. I am told that Firmino went to Jurgen Klopp personally about his decision.
"That was very important for the player, because of their very, very good relationship.
"He told Jurgen Klopp that he wants to make another step with his family in the summer, and it was a very positive and clear talk.

"I have been told that Firmino told Klopp, 'I will fight for Liverpool until the end'. He has not chosen another club yet - the decision is open. He will take a decision about his new club in the next couple of weeks."
Firmino will hope to help Liverpool reach the Champions League qualification spots before the end of the season, with Jurgen Klopp's side six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, with a game in hand.
The Reds take on Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.
