Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is 'open' to leaving the club this summer, a prominent journalist has claimed in a new report.
Salah signed a new contract with the Reds last summer, extending his stay at Anfield until 2025 with a new wage of around £350,000-per-week.
He has continued to be a key player for Jurgen Klopp's side this season, scoring 22 goals in 39 games in all competitions.

Liverpool have struggled, however, in comparison to other seasons. They are already out of the Champions League, having been eliminated by Real Madrid in the last 16 stage, and face a battle to finish in the Premier League top four.
But Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna has claimed that Salah is 'open' to a move away from the club - and has also alleged at the player's preferred destination should he depart.

Aouna claims that Salah is now 'asking questions about his future', with Liverpool having had a difficult season to this point.

The Reds sold Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich last summer, with Roberto Firmino also set to leave the club at the end of his contract, which expires in June.
It is also reported that the Egypt star would prefer a move to Spain, although it is unknown whether a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid would appeal more.
If Salah does leave, it would be a major blow for Klopp, with the 30-year-old still an indispensable member of his system.
Liverpool went to great lengths to convince the forward to extend his contract last year, and Goal reported that the new deal made him one of the Premier League's top earners.

He has netted 178 goals in 293 appearances for the Reds since joining from Roma in 2017 - and the club will be desperate for him to continue to add to that tally beyond this season.
