Liverpool forard Divock Origi has touched down in Milan ahead of his transfer to The Rossoneri.

Origi has already announced that he’ll be leaving Liverpool at the end of his contract, following a rather successful 7 years at the club.

The forward scored 22 goals in 107 appearances on Merseyside, and picked up some stellar trophies including the Premier League, FA Cup and the Champions League.

The Belgian will be joining Serie A champions AC Milan and will join fellow Premier League outcasts, Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud.

After touching down in Milan, Origi is set to complete his medical at the club, and should be announced as a player in the coming days.

The Italian side are also set to secure the signing of Renato Sanches from Lille and have recently been linked with a move for, reported Liverpool target, Marco Asensio from Real Madrid.

Origi joins Milan in the hope of a starting place, and with Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both approaching the end of their careers, a pathway to first team football could present itself.

Having fallen far down the pecking order on Merseyside, the Belgian striker has never really been a starter for Jurgen Klopp.

However, there’s no denying his impact at the club and the legacy he will leave behind.

Origi has scored some incredibly important goals for the Reds, and his strike against Barcelona, in Liverpool’s famous 4-0 comeback win, has recently been voted the ‘greatest goal in Liverpool’s 130-year history’.

New Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez recently announced that he’ll be taking Origi’s squad number, 27, for the upcoming season and he'll be hoping to score as many memorable goals as the shirt's predecessor.
