Uruguay great Diego Forlan has revealed what he believes Darwin Nuñez will bring to Liverpool.
Forlan is certain that his compatriot will add “without a doubt, goals” to Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
However, the former Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Atletico Madrid man has warned Liverpool fans that Nuñez isn’t the finished product just yet.

Forlan has noted that Nuñez is still “growing” and he still needs to master the “technical aspect” of his game.
That said, Forlan believes by “gaining experience” at Anfield Nuñez will develop “more and more.”
Liverpool fans will be hoping Nuñez will be able to hit the ground running at the club following the completion of his move from Benfica.

He arrives in England in a deal which could end up costing Liverpool a total of £85.5 million.
The Reds’ belief in the player is evidenced by the fee paid for him. They have smashed their previous transfer record of £75 million, which was spent on stalwart centre back Virgil Van Dijk in late 2017.
He arrives as something of a direct replacement for Sadio Mané. Mané’s £35.1 million move to Bayern was confirmed earlier this week.
With the Senegal international out of the picture, Nuñez likely walks straight into Jürgen Klopp’s first choice starting XI.

Roberto Firmino has fallen down the club’s pecking order regarding the starting centre-forward role in recent times, and Nuñez will want to ensure he can keep the Brazilian out of the side upon his arrival.
Liverpool have set aside a significant amount of resource to bring in Nuñez. It has been widely reported that Reds fans shouldn’t expect any more incomings this summer.
Alongside Nuñez, former Fulham man Fabio Carvalho joins the Anfield club as another forward option.
Calvin Ramsay has also joined from Aberdeen to provide competition for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back.
