Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has opened up on when new signing Cody Gakpo could potentially make his debut for the club.
Gakpo will officially move to Anfield on January 1, when the UK transfer window opens.
The Reds agreed a deal with PSV to sign the 23-year-old on Boxing Day, with Liverpool officially announcing the signing two days later.

Gakpo will become the club's first January signing, with the Netherlands international likely, Klopp says, to feature on the left side of the attack. However, he can also play more centrally and in midfield if required.
Reds fans are, understandably, delighted with the deal, and are eagerly anticipating the player making his debut for the club.
Speaking to the media prior to Liverpool's Premier League clash against Leicester on Friday, Klopp asked questions about when the Dutchman could play in a Reds shirt for the first time.
Klopp on Gakpo debut
A report from The Telegraph on Thursday claimed that Gakpo could wait 'weeks' for his Liverpool debut, to be given the opportunity to get up to speed with his new club's system.

But Klopp said: "We are obviously very early [with the signing], which is good.
"There might be a chance for Brentford [on January 2], but I think not really, to be honest, because obviously January 1 is a bank holiday. All the papers, which we don't have to sign but some other people [do], they have to be signed on the 2nd until 12pm lunchtime.
"I'm not too positive that will happen. But we will not rush it, anyway. So probably Wolves."
Liverpool take on Julen Lopetegui's side in the FA Cup third round on January 7, meaning the 23-year-old's potential Premier League debut may not take place until January 14, when the Reds travel to face Roberto De Zerbi's Brighton.

Fans will hope to catch a glimpse of Gakpo in action soon - but they may have to be slightly patient to see the Netherlands star feature for his new club.
