Liverpool vs Newcastle live stream: How to watch and team news

Key details on Liverpool vs Newcastle

Newcastle travel to Merseyside this evening to take on Liverpool following a poor start to the season for Jurgen Klopp's side.

After the first three games of the new campaign, the Reds undoubtedly found themselves in a tough spot.

They collected just 2 points from games against Fulham and Crystal Palace, and suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.

However, last weekend saw them record an emphatic 9-0 thrashing at home to Bournemouth, equalling the largest winning margin in Premier League history and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping this has rejuvenated his men.

Although they are coming off the back of a spectacular win, Liverpool will know Eddie Howe’s side will provide a much sterner test.

The Magpies find themselves in 7th place after the first four rounds of the campaign, and they are one of only 5 teams in the League who remain unbeaten.

Here is everything you need to know about tonight’s clash.

Liverpool vs Newcastle Team News:

There has been something of an injury crisis so far at Anfield this season, with the likes of Thiago, Joel Matip, Ibrahim Konate and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all having missed most of the opening games.

Unfortunately for Liverpool fans, none of these key names will be fit enough to make the squad this evening, but it is the last game of Darwin Nunez’ 3 match suspension so he will be available to play at the weekend.

Eddie Howe is also missing some important players, including star midfielder Bruno Guimares, defender Emile Krath and striker Callum Wilson.

Allan Saint-Maximin also limped off after scoring the equaliser against Wolves and it remains to be seen whether he will recover in time for tonight.
