Liverpool have had a massive £62million bid for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo rejected, according to a report.
The Reds are on the hunt for a new midfielder, with Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both out of contract next summer.
Meanwhile, Thiago Alcantara has suffered a series of injuries this term while Fabinho’s form has been uncharacteristically poor.

In turn, the Reds are looking to rejuvenate their midfield, with Jude Bellingham believed to be their No.1 transfer target. Of course, they face competition for the Borussia Dortmund star’s signature from the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
In the past month, Liverpool have also been heavily linked with a move for Benfica and Argentina star Enzo Fernandez, though the World Cup winner appears to be Chelsea bound.
Reports are now claiming Jurgen Klopp’s side are interested in Caicedo too and have just had a massive bid rebuffed for the 21-year-old.
Caicedo to Liverpool?
Ecuadorian outlet Teradeportes (as cited by Football.London) has claimed that Liverpool have seen a £62million bid for Caicedo rejected by Brighton.

The player has impressed for Roberto De Zerbi’s side this season, while he was also a star for an Ecuador side that narrowly missed out on qualifying for the World Cup knockout stages.
Chelsea are also said to be monitoring a potential deal for the Seagulls star, with Blues boss Graham Potter hoping for a reunion with his former player.
Indeed, Chelsea are said to be monitoring four midfield options in the transfer window, including Caicedo should they fail to land their primary target, Fernandez.
