Liverpool have identified Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus as a potential solution to their poor early season form.
Jurgen Klopp's side have been in abysmal league form this term. The Reds currently sit in sixth place, some seven points from the Champions League spots, and 15 points from Arsenal at the top.
Liverpool are looking to dip into the market to revitalise their underperforming side. Indeed bringing in midfield reinforcements is thought to be a priority, with Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain out of contract next summer.

The Reds are thought to be targeting England’s teenage sensation, Jude Bellingham, while Kudus has also been named as an option.
Kudus a solution?
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Liverpool have been tracking Kudus’ progress for a long time.
Indeed, with Liverpool wanting reinforcements in both midfield and attack, the 22-year-old star would fit the bill perfectly.

However, the report claims the player has also attracted interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The Reds allegedly sent scouts to watch Kudus play on his World Cup debut against Portugal last week.
Indeed, the Ghana star has impressed on the international stage, netting a brace in Ghana’s crucial Group H win over South Korea. Meanwhile, Kudus has starred in the Champions League for Ajax this term.

The burgeoning superstar even scored a brilliant individual goal against Liverpool earlier this year - one of his five goals for Ajax from midfield this season.
Tipped for bright future
The Ghana star has been tipped by his teammates for a big future. Black Stars captain Andre Ayew said: "He has a bright future in front of him.
"We know this, I know this, Ghana knows it now, the world is going to know it. You'll see, more is coming from my boy."

Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew, Andre's younger brother, added: "Hopefully he can keep on shining because he has a really bright future.”
