Manchester United legend Patrice Evra is wary of Liverpool being “angry” in the second half of the season.
The Reds take on Aston Villa, live on Amazon Prime, in both sides’ first Premier League fixture since the conclusion of the World Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s side put in a dire showing in the first 14 games of the campaign, winning just six of them.

In turn, Liverpool travel to Villa Park some eight points from the Champions League spots before kick-off.
But actually, the Merseysiders had started to hit form before the season was abruptly halted for the Qatar World Cup.
Klopp will be hoping the Reds’ resurgence can continue into the New Year, and that the club can somehow claw their way into the Champions League places by the end of the season.
Evra is wary of Liverpool
Evra, who is a five-time Premier League winner with Manchester United, claimed that Liverpool will get their league campaign back underway with a victory.

The former France international tipped the Reds to claim a 3-1 victory at Villa Park and insisted that the “hunger” had returned to Klopp’s side.
Evra told Betfair: "I saw Liverpool in the Dubai Cup and you can feel that they are angry. Their hunger is back.
“They will want to come back strong for the second part of the season and I can see them starting with a win in this one."
