After his dismal performance against Manchester United, Trent Alexander Arnold was the subject of heavy criticism from Liverpool fans.
Jurgen Klopp’s men produced a horror show as they failed to match United in every area of the pitch.
Goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford secured Erik ten Hag’s side a well deserved win. Mohamed Salah was the scorer for Liverpool.
After the result, United went above Liverpool in the Premier League table. Klopp’s men were simply not good enough on the night, and one Liverpool fan, Scotty, wants the club to sell full back Alexander Arnold.

He said on talkSPORT: “You boys want a comment on Trent, here’s my comment on Trent.
“Get him out my club, get him gone. £60 - £80 million, get him gone.”
Scotty was then asked by former Reds player Dean Saunders to give constructive criticism.
He replied: “He’s a defensive liability, if you have someone so far up the wing, you need at least a good right centre back. Joe Gomez isn’t that.

“Joe Gomez cuts it in the Championship, not for a top side like Liverpool.”
Alexander Arnold was easily one of the best players in the Liverpool squad over the last few years, but he has struggled to reproduce that kind of form so far this season.
Klopp eluded the club’s ever growing injury problems when speaking after the match.

He told Sky Sports: “It’s obvious we are in a tricky situation injury wise, we get through the week with 14-15 senior players available, we have to make sure none of them get injured because there's no real options left any more.
“Even with our situation, but playing a little bit better, if we were a little more convinced about what we do we should've won this game. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's how I see it.”
It has been extremely rare to see a Liverpool side lose a game in past year, it has been even rarer to see them lose in the manner they did on Monday night.
Klopp’s men have be famed for their work rate and mental toughest to get themselves out of trouble, but they were unable to produce the goods against a rejuvenated United side.

Ten Hag praised his players' attitude after recording his first league win as United boss.
The Dutchman said: “We can talk about tactical but it is all about attitude. There was communication and a fighting spirit.
“I wanted a different approach and a different attitude and that is what they brought on the pitch. It is only a start. We can play with much more composure and much more danger.
“Be a team and have a good spirit - and that is what we saw today.”
