Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez all scored twice for Jurgen Klopp's side, while Roberto Firmino capped the victory with an emotional goal - just days after it was confirmed the Brazilian will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.

Klopp's plan for Liverpool's attack revealed
According to The Telegraph's Chris Bascombe, Klopp is expected to rotate his attacking unit when they are all fit – unlike in previous years when Salah, Firmino and Sadio Mane were the undisputed front three.
"The Liverpool coach is a matter of weeks from a situation he has craved all season: a selection dilemma upfront," wrote Bascombe.

"Luis Diaz is already in light training and Diogo Jota is edging closer to full match sharpness.
"Neither expect to be understudies when everyone is fit, so attacking responsibilities will be shared more than in previous years. That was the plan in July."
Liverpool will look to extend their winning run in the Premier League when they travel to face Bournemouth on Saturday.
