Liverpool have already started discussing a move for a key transfer target this summer, according to former Reds forward Stan Collymore.
Jurgen Klopp's side are looking to rebuild in the summer after a poor season and several departures are also expected.
One area that has been heavily criticised is the midfield and according to recent reports, three players could be on their way out of Anfield.

It would leave room for new additions and former Reds forward Stan Collymore has recently provided an update on Liverpool's pursuit of Chelsea star Mason Mount.
Speaking to Caught Offside, Collymore said: "I’ve been told by two very reliable people, one of which being a person who knows Mason Mount personally, that his rumoured move to Liverpool this summer is very much on.
"It’s already being discussed within both clubs. There is a lot still to decide though, particularly at Chelsea.
"There will be a lot of outgoings and probably some more incomings so a lot will depend on what the club decides to do but the fact they’re already talking about the possibility of letting Mount go says a lot."
A positive sign for Klopp
Collymore's comments will be a positive sign for Klopp who needs backing in the transfer market if he's to get Liverpool back to challenging at the top.

Liverpool have been growing increasingly confident in convincing Mount to leave Chelsea and move to Anfield, according to a recent report from talkSPORT.
The Englishman's contract expires at the end of next season and negotiations have stalled making a move to Merseyside even more likely.
Given Chelsea's recent splurge in the transfer market they are going to find it difficult to please all of their players, so offloading Mount now rather than risking him leave for free might be the best option.
Liverpool also look more likely to be able to offer him Champions League football next season - even more so after their incredible 7-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday - so it's an attractive proposition for the player.
