Liverpool owners FSG have been slammed by fans after the Reds announced a price increase for the new home shirt.
As the current season edges closer to its conclusion, Liverpool fans up and down the country are waiting patiently for the release of the new jersey for the 23/24 season.
However, Reds fans have been left angry and disappointed after the latest announcement from the club regarding the new home shirt.
On Thursday afternoon, Liverpool confirmed that the new Nike home kit for the 23/24 season will be increased to £74.95, which is a six per cent increase from last season.

The club put the price increase down to “rising supply chain and operational costs across all areas.”

However, the prices for junior shirts and training kits will be frozen.
Liverpool’s senior vice president for retail and merchandising, Mike Cox said: “Rising costs are an issue across the board and no organisation is immune. We wanted to prioritise the kids kits and keep the same prices for the majority of our youth and training kit ranges for the second season in a row.
“We’ve made this decision despite facing a series of rising costs, including across manufacturing, fulfilment, shipping and distribution.
“We’re really pleased with the design of the new home kit and we can’t wait for supporters to see it.”
