Andy Robertson ignited the Merseyside derby after his altercation with Jordan Pickford ended with a fiery brawl.
Liverpool arrived at Anfield knowing they had to win against their local rivals Everton if they are to have any chance of finishing in the top four come the end of the season.
After a dismal performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, manager Jurgen Klopp, along with the Liverpool fans demanded a response.

The men in red duly responded with an energetic display as goals from Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo sealed a much-needed 2-0 win over the Toffees.
However, it was Robertson who stole the show after instigating a brawl during the closing stages of the match.
With Liverpool already 2-0 up, the Scotland captain decided to waste a little bit of time after the referee blew for an Everton free kick.

Robertson’s antics did not impress Everton goalkeeper Pickford, who marched out of the penalty area to confront the Liverpool full-back.
Robertson simply responded by laughing in the England stopper’s face. This led to Conor Coady coming over to tell Robertson exactly how he felt.
The altercation then turned into a brawl on the touchline as substitutes from both sides got involved, Everton’s Amadou Onana was absolutely furious with Liverpool’s Kostas Tsimikas whilst Virgil van Dijk had his hands full as he looked to calm things down.

A third fan added: “Andy Robertson managed to rattle the whole Everton team by laughing in Pickford's face, what a sh*thouse.”
