Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has issued a positive injury update ahead of the Merseyside derby.
The Portugal international has been sidelined with a calf injury ever since he was stretchered off during the Reds' 1-0 win over Manchester City in October.
Klopp confirmed the inury would keep him out of the World Cup, with the 26-year-old having to watch the action from the medical benches.

The Reds have struggled in his absence, dropping to 10th in the Premier League table following a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Wolves last weekend.
Jota managed 15 goals for the club last season, helping them reach the Champions League final and lift the FA Cup trophy.
Jota returns to training
Taking to Twitter, the versatile winger posted: "I'm back," accompanied with a smiling emoji.

Whilst the Everton clash is likely to come too soon for Jota, he could be in contention to play against Real Madrid in their Champions League last 16 tie.
His return will also likely ease some of the workload on Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez, especially with Roberto Firmino and Luis Diaz still yet to return from injury themselves.
Who else is returning from injury?
However, last week, Klopp issued a positive update on the pair, along with Virgil van Dijk, who suffered a thigh injury against Brentford on January 2.

He explained: "Bobby's getting closer obviously, very good. Luis is running now. They will take a few weeks still, but he's now out on the pitch running which is really good.
"Virgil is getting closer but not ready. Parts of training [this week] for Virgil."
Meanwhile, midfielder Arthur Melo also took to social media to share his progress with fans.
The Brazilian tweeted an image of him training, alongside the caption: "Stronger and closer. Come on! #LFC"

The Merseyside derby will be played on Monday evening at Anfield and there's not just bragging rights up for grabs. Liverpool need three points if they are to stand any chance of creeping back into the European places.
Meanwhile, Sean Dyche will be hoping to make it two wins from two as he looks to guide the Toffees to safety this season.
