The Premier League are considering switching grounds for Liverpool’s trip to Chelsea next weekend, according to the Athletic.
With the Reds set to take on Graham Potter’s side at Stamford Bridge the day before the Queen’s state funeral in London, there are questions about policing levels which may cause concern in the capital.
It is thought that fixtures at Chelsea, Brentford and Tottenham could all be reversed to ensure the games go ahead.

However, it would mean that both Liverpool and Everton would be playing at home on the same day, meaning four sets of fans would enter the city.
This comes after the entirety of the Premier League calendar was postponed due to the Queen’s passing aged 96 on Thursday.
The league said in a statement:
"At a meeting this morning, Premier League clubs paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II."

"To honour her extraordinary life and contribution to the nation, and as a mark of respect, this weekend’s Premier League match round will be postponed, including Monday evening’s game.
"Further updates regarding Premier League fixtures during the period of mourning will be provided in due course."

Although the decision was understandable, there is now the worrying problem of when the postponed fixtures will actually be played.
With the chaos caused by placing a World Cup mid-season, games are already coming thick and fast for the top clubs - and the next available midweek slot for Liverpool is in January, providing they beat Derby County in the Carabao Cup.
Chelsea will be in a similar predicament, whilst Wolverhampton Wanderers (the side Liverpool were meant to play this weekend) could face the Reds if they go out of the competition early too.
Whether the league will look to introduce a round of fixtures within another midweek schedule remains to be seen, but the gruelling schedule ahead is not a pretty sight for players, managers or physios.
