Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was handed a straight red in the ninth minute of Sunday's Ligue 1 clash against Le Havre after a moment of madness.
The 24-year-old Italian shot-stopper, who has been struggling for form of late, completely misjudged the flight of a long ball over the top and landed a WWE-style big boot on Josue Casimir.
As you can see from the footage below, Bastian Dechepy had no other option but to send him off as thousands inside the Stade Oceane cheered his clumsy dismissal.

Donnarumma would try and contest the decision but there was no doubt in Dechepy's mind.
Arnau Tenas, who joined Les Parisiens from Barcelona this summer, would eventually put on the gloves after replacing Bradley Barcola. Check out the incident in full below:
It was a nightmare start to the game for Luis Enrique's side, who suffered another blow when Fabian Ruiz had to be replaced by Manuel Ugarte because of injury.

That being said, Kylian Mbappe gave 10-man PSG the lead just before the half hour mark.
Donnarumma, meanwhile, has had a rough start to the 2023/24 campaign. He was slated by the French press this week after failing to deal with Newcastle's opener in their Champions League clash at the Parc des Princes.
He was handed a 3/10 rating by Le Parisien, who said he was "entirely responsible" for Alexander Isak's goal.
And last month, hundreds of AC Milan supporters hurled fake bank notes at the Italian ahead of their game against Paris Saint-Germain to highlight his so-called betrayal.
In addition to the notes containing the words “Mercenary”, “Man without honour” and “Dollarumma”, some Rossoneri fans sported t-shirts with the No.71. The number is said to mean "man with no values" in Neapolitan tradition.
