Liam Gallagher has responded to criticism that he goaded a Manchester United fan as he celebrated Manchester City's FA Cup final success.
There must be little imaginable that would be more enjoyable for a City fan than winning a trophy at the direct expense of their most hated rivals.
Certainly their first Premier League title in 2012 was made all the sweeter by those circumstances and that was no doubt the case on Saturday in the FA Cup.

Ilkay Gundogan's goal after 13 seconds gave the team a start that they could have only dreamed of, and even then it would have seemed far fetched.
After some understandable outrage for a controversial penalty decision and a potential missed red card for Casemiro, it was back to celebrating a second Gundogan goal for the City faithful.
Pep Guardiola's side had more to celebrate at full time as they collected their second trophy on the way to possibly matching Sir Alex Ferguson's Treble winning side from the 1998/99 season.

Fans spotted that Gundogan wasn't wearing a medal during the partying whilst others were concentrating on former Oasis stat Gallagher.
The Mancunian is a big City fan and he was spotted in a box at Wembley 'goading' a young United fan at full time.
There was claims that the 50-year-old was 'tormenting' the kid and there was more criticism as well, despite it all looking pretty light-hearted.

What looks like the fan's mum intervenes to give him a hug before Gallagher goes in for a second round of taking the p*ss out of the youngster.
The former Beady Eyes frontman then rubs the kid's shoulders at the end but it didn't stop people thinking he'd acted wrongly.
However he's now defended his actions and pointed out that he knows the lad. "The young lad I was apparently antagonising was my mates kid who I was consoling," Gallaher said on social media.
"He’s a Utd fan I love and adore him we’re not all c****s CTID LG x."

Admittedly I'm not completely convinced that the singer songwriter was trying to 'console' the kid but it's very obvious that it was all fun and games.
