The father of a Leeds United fan at the team hotel prior to the 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth has responded after the players were slammed for appearing to 'ignore' supporters.
Javi Gracia's side continued their wretched run at the Vitality Stadium, where Jefferson Lerma bagged a brace before Dominic Solanke and Antoine Semenyo struck.
The Yorkshire outfit sit just one point above the relegation zone but the club's squad have been slated for their conduct off the pitch as well as their recent performances.
On Sunday, a video went viral showing a group of fans waiting to greet first-team players ahead of the 2pm kick-off.

One young supporter, wearing his full Leeds strip and armed with an autograph book, waved at a number of players but in the clip, no player showed any acknowledgement.

It caused outrage amongst fans online, with Piers Morgan branding the players "Selfish arrogant pr*cks" and Gary Neville also weighing in with his thoughts.
The backlash was so strong that Leeds felt the to need to issue a statement on behalf of the players, apologising to the youngster that he wasn't "shown more love from the squad".

However, the lad's father has spoken out in defence of the players revealing that the video didn't tell the full story.
He says his son did have interactions with his heroes and got a total of three autographs from players.
"We live in Southampton but we heard Dylan could get the chance to see his heroes at Bournemouth," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"He had a fantastic day. Luke Ayling fist bumped him, Javi Gracia came and tickled his chin and had a chat with him, Jack Harrison had a laugh with him, Adam Forshaw came down the stairs with his hand out to high five him and Brenden Aaronson signed an autograph.
"Max Wober turned and said hi, Willy Gnonto said hi. He was buzzing. He's got three autographs, we had a great day and there you have it.
"Then this morning, Caleb, his elder brother spotted this post from SPORTbible and I was gobsmacked. The video just shows the players who didn't say hi.
"We know full well they're under pressure, they're trying to stay in the Premier League and we're devastated because we don't want to be involved in negative press."

Struggling Leeds conceded 23 goals in April and have taken just one point from their last five games. And it doesn't get any easier for them as they face Premier League leaders Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday.
