Victor Osimhen pulled one back in stoppage time as Milan secured a spot in the last four of the competition for the first time since 2007.
Leao, who has attracted interest from Europe's elite, starred on the night as he produced a sensational assist, dribbling past players before picking out his teammate.
After the game, he spoke to CBS Sports with Kate Abdo and Thierry Henry asking him questions about the tie and his stunning assist.

The post-match interview was going smoothly until Carragher popped up. The Liverpool legend asked the Portuguese ace about a potential semi-final showdown against fierce rivals Inter Milan.
But Leao couldn't understand a word he was saying in a hilarious sequence as Henry said he's a 'Scouser, sorry. It's difficult'.
Carragher attempted to repeat his question as he called Inter by their full name - Internazionale.
The reaction in the studio summed up Carragher's effort as Abdo, Henry and Richards burst out laughing.
He still couldn't grasp Carragher's accent as Abdo intervened.
