It has been revealed that Vinicius Jr had planned to get all of his Real Madrid teammates an incredible gift after he won the Ballon d'Or before it was confirmed that he had missed out.
It was an extremely controversial night at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris as Vini Jr, alongside the entirety of Real Madrid refused to turn up after being made aware Rodri would be handed the award.
Vini was the clear favourite for the award following his outstanding season in Madrid where he won La Liga, scoring 15 goals in the process.

The Brazilian also scored in Madrid's Champions League final victory at Wembley, with former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand screaming 'Ballon d'Or' on commentary when Vini slotted home.
Following the confirmation of Rodri's victory, Vini took to social media to react, posting on X: "I'll do it 10x if I have to. They're not ready."
It has also been claimed by Relevo, that Vini had planned some incredible gifts to give his Madrid teammates to celebrate his victory.
The report claims that Vini had held a huge party on Sunday night ahead of the ceremony that lasted until dawn with his closest family and friends.

Vini had also organised giving every single one of his Madrid teammates a Rolex to thank them for the season.
It is reported that Vini was only made aware he had not won the Ballon d'Or after his party which lasted until dawn.
Following the ceremony, Chief Editor of France Football, Vincent Garcia insisted that it wouldn't have been possible for Vini to know the result prior to the ceremony.

“I can guarantee you that no one from City or Real Madrid knew, maybe they had a feeling. Maybe El Clásico didn’t help. I don’t know," he said.
