Real Madrid have reportedly picked another shock Premier League player as one of their top transfer targets as part of a move that nobody has seen coming.
In just five days, the transfer window will once again open, giving clubs across the world the opportunity to further bolster their squads ahead of the second half of the season.
As always, La Liga giants Real Madrid are expected to be busy in the January window, with the Spanish champions expected to enquire about several top players, including Trent Alexander-Arnold

But a new report has revealed that the Liverpool star isn't the only Premier League player that Real Madrid will look to sign, as they will also pursue a shock name.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid are exploring the option of signing young Bournemouth centre-back Dean Huijsen as they look to rebuild their defence.
Injuries to David Alaba, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao, combined with the departure of Nacho Fernandez over the summer, has shown that the Spanish side need to reinforce their backline.

With Alexander-Arnold and Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies the top targets as full-backs, Real will focus on Huijsen as the star signing in the middle of defence.
The Dutch defender, who enjoys dual nationality having been born and raised in Marbella, has been on the radar of the La Liga side for several years, but they feel now is the perfect time to make a move.
Huijsen joined Bournemouth last summer from Juventus for a reported fee of £15.3m including add-ons, having previously spent time at Roma after Jose Mourinho demanded he came to the club on loan.

Since the move, the 19-year-old has impressed, making 13 appearances for his new club in both the Premier League and the Carabao Cup, meaning Bournemouth will likely demand a high fee to part ways with their star signing.
But both Real Madrid and Huijsen remain unsure on the move, as La Liga side are not fully convinced that the promising youngster is ready to start yet and the Dutchman would not accept a move that would see him relegated to a secondary role and slow down his development.
If a deal were to fall apart, both Arsenal and Manchester United are also reportedly monitoring the defender and could consider making a move.
