Fans are reacting to Endrick’s off-the-ball challenge on an Alaves player during Real Madrid’s 3-2 victory over the Basque outfit.
Real Madrid weathered a late storm to claim a La Liga victory over Alves on Tuesday evening, with goals coming courtesy of Lucas Vazquez, Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo.
While Carlos Benavidez and Kike Garcia scored in the 88th and 89th minutes for Luis García’s men, Los Blancos held on to claim all three points.

The victory sees Carlo Ancelotti’s men take second place in the La Liga standings on 17 points, one behind leaders Barcelona, who play a game in hand against Getafe on Wednesday.
After Real’s victory however, much of the talk online has been of Endrick’s brutal off-the-ball foul in the 83rd minute.
The Brazilian teenager appeared to launch his knee into Santiago Mourino’s groin, with the centre-back subsequently collapsing to the floor in agony.

While Endrick received a yellow card for the challenge, fans on Reddit have widely insisted his punishment should have been more severe.
One person said: “Okay but what even is the point of VAR if we’re not gonna check back and give a red for this?”

A second wrote: “Did I just see Endrick get away with a sending off for kneeing an opposing player's family jewels?”
A third joked: “Got the ball.”
A fourth said: “I know Alaves are a dirty team, and I know they got away with a lot in this match, but how the f*** is that not considered violent conduct?
“I mean, this is a sport where hitting an opponent in the balls is treated with the same severity as booting the ball a second after the ref blows the whistle for a foul.”

A fifth added: “Should be getting a ban for a couple matches, intentionally kicks him and got him in the balls. As funny as it can be, that s***’s dangerous.”
