Marcus Rashford accused of 'twerking for Barcelona' as fans spot two-word post he made after El Clasico

Marcus Rashford has been accused of 'twerking for Barcelona' as fans have spotted his two-word post following their El Clasico victory.

Barca beat Real Madrid 4-3 on Sunday to move one step closer to winning the La Liga title this season.

Eric Garcia, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha (x2) all got on the score-sheet for Barca while Kylian Mbappe bagged a stunning hat-trick, which was ultimately in vain.

Yamal scored a spectacular left-footed strike to make it 2-2 before the hosts went onto win the match.

The 17-year-old sensation brought up his 16th goal of the season in the process as he enjoys a stunning campaign following last summer's Euro 2024 heroics.

He's in contention to win this year's Ballon d'Or, with super-agent Jorge Mendes backing him to win the prestigious individual award.

"Lamine Yamal deserves to win the Ballon d’Or this year," he said. "He’s been the best player in the world this season, that’s very clear. Lamine’s level has been worth the Ballon d’Or."

After the game, Yamal took to social media to share a celebratory Instagram post as fans are convinced he aimed a dig at Jude Bellingham.

Rashford, who has been strongly linked with a move to Barca, left a comment on the teenage phenom's social media post.

He commented: "Young King."

Barca supporters, however, reckon Rashford is 'twerking' for a switch amid intense transfer speculation.

One X user wrote: "Twerking for us," while another added: "Literally twerking."

A third said: "We’re using Yamal to attract players to this club."

Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United during the January transfer window.

But he appears set to leave Villa once his loan deal expires, with a permanent move away from Old Trafford on the cards.

The 27-year-old seems to be angling for a transfer to Barca, who have had a long-standing interest in the England forward.
