Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal named the one Premier League player he would most like to play with during his career.
Yamal, 17, is a superstar in his own right and made his debut for Barca’s senior side when he was just 15 years old.
His level of performance in the seasons that followed was way beyond his years, which earned him a call-up to Luis de la Fuente’s Spain squad for Euro 2024.

Not only was he called up by De la Fuente, 63, but he also set the tournament alight with sensational performances.
Yamal was part of the side that beat England 2-1 in the final and secured the Young Player of the Tournament accolade for his efforts in Germany.
During the tournament, he played with Ballon d’Or winner Rodri but it was another Premier League player who he revealed he would love to play alongside side at some point during his career.

The winger, who has registered five goals and ten assists for Barcelona this season, was quizzed on the player who he would most like to share a pitch with by Radioestadio Noche (via City_Chief).
“Kevin De Bruyne”, Yamal answered.
Presumably, most football fans would be excited at the prospect of Yamal and De Bruyne, 33, linking up, but this seems increasingly unlikely given the 16-year age difference between the pair.

While Yamal has gone from strength to strength in a Barca shirt this season, De Bruyne has struggled with injuries and has not made the same impact he had done at Manchester City in previous years.
The Belgium international has registered six assists and two goals in the league this season but looks set to leave the Premier League champions, with his current contract set to expire in June of this year.
The MLS and Saudi Pro League have emerged as possible destinations for the former Chelsea midfielder.
When speaking with reporters in the mixed zone after City’s 4-1 win against West Ham on January 5, the Belgian gave an update on his future.

“Rumours on my future?” said De Bruyne. “I don't care. I'm just trying to get back to my level."
“I feel every week I'm getting better," he added. "I can play for 90 minutes now. It's been an uncomfortable couple of months with the injury."
