Barcelona star Joao Felix has seen his Barcelona salary increased by a thousand per cent in another blow for the Blaugrana's finances.
Felix signed on loan in the summer after being made surplus to requirements upon his return to Atletico Madrid.
The Portugal international, who had an unsuccessful loan spell with Chelsea, lost the No.7 shirt and did not play a single minute in pre-season.
He made no secret of the fact he wanted to move to Barca, who eventually sanctioned a loan on 1 September.

Felix also signed a new Atletico extension until 2029 but it was reported that his Barca wage for the season was just €400,000.
This was arranged so that Barca, whose financial difficulties are well documented, could register him.
However, Sport say that La Liga have now updated their records to show that Felix is actually earning €4 million.

La Liga president Javier Tebas has taken to social media to confirm the update, stating that the league "multiplied the remuneration agreed between Joao and FCB by 10, for Fair Play purposes".
Felix has scored six goals for Barca, including strikes against Real Madrid and parent club Atletico.
His form of late has been a concern, however, and he was dropped for the win over Las Palmas.

It's reported that Ferran Torres will get the nod ahead of Felix in the upcoming Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Osasuna next Thursday.
According to Diario Sport, via Sportskeeda, the club still wish to keep him at the club but cannot afford what would be a fairly hefty transfer fee.
Instead, agent Jorge Mendes has proposed another one-year loan when the current season spell expires.
Third in the league and seven points off the top after 19 games, Barca are back in action against Barbastro in the Copa del Rey on Sunday night.
