Ilkay Gundogan was left feeling 'disappointed' given the behaviour of two of his former Barcelona teammates, according to a new report.
Gundogan, 33, rejoined Manchester City this summer after just one season in La Liga with the Spanish giants.
Financial issues over the signing of Dani Olmo and a desire to lower the wage bill are just two of the cited reasons why the German international called time on his spell at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently stated that Olmo and Gundogan occupy the same position on the pitch and his game time may have been limited as a result but more information has since come to light.
According to journalist Joan Fontes, the Manchester City star is said to have held a 'grudge' against both Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Robert Lewandowski.
Ter Stegen is thought to have largely kept himself to himself around his colleagues, despite his responsibility as club captain.

The report further states how Gundogan is said to have felt let down by his fellow German given his timid personality in the dressing room.
Furthermore, the 33-year-old's rumoured discontent towards Lewandowski was down to the Pole's perceived arrogance.
There are claims that his attitude towards young players and focus being primarily on himself rather than helping youngsters irked Gundogan even more.
Gundogan's return to the Etihad Stadium was heralded by City fans given his past achievements at the club.

Manager Pep Guardiola is also a huge fan of the midfielder, admitting the opportunity to bring the former Borussia Dortmund star back was quite simply a no-brainer.
“It was a complete surprise and unexpected. It happened,” said the Man City boss.
“We know him quite well, me personally but the players and the staff and everyone.

“We know the quality he played with last season in Barcelona.
"He played at a high level, consistency with a lot of minutes, producing a lot.
“We didn’t have any doubts when the possibility was open so we’re absolutely delighted that he’s back.
“I got a message from Txiki [Begiristain] saying Ilkay wants to talk to you.

"He called me and asked about the situation and if there was a chance to come back if I would like it and we said yes immediately.
“I have a feeling that he doesn’t come here to retire or remember good memories that we have.
"We have time for the good memories in the future but now it’s time for shoes on and play your best.”
