Barcelona and Bayern Munich could work together for a mammoth swap deal that would benefit all parties, it has been reported.
The two sides have done a fair bit of business in recent years, with the likes of Thiago Alcantara, Arturo Vidal and Philippe Coutinho turning out for both.
But in a new, surprise update, there's word that a summer swap deal between the two giants could be on the cards.
Writing in SPORT, David Bernabeu claims that the Blaugrana may look to exchange defender Ronald Araujo as part of a deal for Bayern midfielder Joshua Kimmich.

The Uruguayan international is a top target for Bayern, who are said to have failed with two bids of €70 million and €80 million in January.
Barcelona are looking to extend his contract and discussions are still ongoing, with a final decision to be made in May at the end of the season.
But the Catalan side are known admirers of Kimmich and are deliberating using Araujo in a proposal for the German.

Manager Xavi Hernandez, now confirmed to be staying on next season after a U-turn, is a huge of Kimmich and sees him as a key addition.
He still has another year to run on his contract but Barcelona still likely won't be able to afford his fee.
Therefore a swap, whether a direct or involving some money, could represent good value for both clubs.
Kimmich made his name as a solid right-back but quickly transitioned into one of the best holding midfield players in world football.

In 2021, the former RB Leipzig man admitted to idolising Xavi growing up.
"My role model was always Xavi Hernandez from Barcelona," Kimmich explained to SportBild.
"He was never the greatest, but had an eye for the game, passing, technique. He was always trying to put others in the limelight.
