Kylian Mbappe showed why Paris Saint-Germain were so desperate to keep hold of him by scoring a superb hat-trick against Metz on the final day of the Ligue 1 season.
PSG announced before Saturday's match that Mbappe had signed a new three-year deal at the Parc des Princes, ending the speculation surrounding his long-term future.
Mbappe had been strongly linked with a summer move to Real Madrid but the France international has turned down the opportunity to play at the Bernabeu, instead committing himself to PSG until the summer of 2025.
Before the match, Mbappe and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi took to the pitch at the Parc des Princes to celebrate the striker's contract renewal, holding up a shirt with 'Mbappe 2025' on the back.

Once the game had got underway, it was almost inevitable that Mbappe would open the scoring for PSG, who had already secured the Ligue 1 title back in April.
Twenty-four minutes into the match, Mbappe rounded Metz goalkeeper Marc-Aurele Caillard before tucking home a neat finish.
He got his second four minutes later with a somewhat fortunate effort that managed to beat Caillard.

It was 3-0 before half-time, Neymar adding the third from close range after Angel Di Maria had been denied by a last-ditch challenge.
PSG showed no signs of letting up in the second half and Mbappe was able to complete his hat-trick just five minutes after the break.
He capitalised on a mistake from a defender before once again rounding Caillard to make it 4-0 to PSG. That goal taking him to 39 for the season in all competitions.

Di Maria then put the icing on the cake for PSG by scoring on his final appearance for the club.
He was substituted late on and was brought to tears after being given a guard of honour by his PSG teammates and a standing ovation from the home support.
While that was Di Maria's moment, it was undoubtedly Mbappe's day.

Speaking ahead of the match, the France international said: "I would like to announce that I have chosen to extend my contract at Paris Saint-Germain, and of course I am delighted.
"I am convinced that here I can continue to grow at a club that provides everything necessary to perform at the highest level.
"I am also delighted to continue to play in France, the country where I was born, where I have grown up and where I have made my name."
