Kieran Trippier scored a stunning long-range free-kick to put Newcastle 3-1 up in a pulsating affair against Manchester City at St James' Park.
Ilkay Gundogan put City ahead early on but Eddie Howe's side responded brilliantly and led at half-time courtesy of goals from Miguel Almiron and Callum Wilson - both assisted by the unplayable Allan Saint-Maximin.
And then in the second half, Trippier, a former City youngster, gave his side a two-goal cushion when he bent in a glorious set-piece.

He went on Ederson's side and unleashed an unstoppable strike that flew past the Brazilian.
It was the opposite side to his worldie against Croatia for England in the 2018 World Cup semi-final but the quality was utterly sublime once again.
Newcastle were fully in dreamland after Trippier's sensational effort but City showed exactly why they are champions and hit back with goals from Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva in quick succession to pull level.

Haaland, having been denied a clear tap-in by Phil Foden and also by Nick Pope and the post, got his goal to make it 3-2 and then nearly notched a fourth Premier League goal.
But Silva did equalise for Pep Guardiola's team after latching onto an exquisite pass from Kevin De Bruyne and slotting home.
Trippier's day very nearly turned when he was shown a red card for a high challenge on De Bruyne, only for the Australian referee Jarred Gillett to overturn his decision and downgrade it to yellow when he watched the Toon skipper's tackle back.
