Ajax defender Jurrien Timber has seemingly dropped a fresh hint that he will sign for Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners are targeting the 22-year-old Netherlands centre-back to bolster their defence, with The Athletic reporting last week that the club had sent an official proposal to Ajax.
The Dutch club turned down an offer of £30 million, and want £50 million to sell one of their key players. But the Daily Mail report that talks are ongoing, with Arsenal having been preparing a second bid for the defender over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the player himself, and his agents, have been active on social media in recent days, leading to speculation that they could be sending clues over a potential deal.
After Fabrizio Romano revealed last week that the Gunners were close to signing Kai Havertz from Chelsea, one of Timber's representatives 'liked' his post on Instagram. That came days after Timber deleted a cryptic post on Twitter, which simply read: "Thanks."

And at the beginning of the month, the defender was said to be spotted in London, according to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf (via Sport Witness), alongside members of his management agency Forza Sports Group. His brother, Feyenoord defender Quinten Timber, and his mother were also in attendance.

However, it is reported that the 22-year-old was in the English capital to watch the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United - although it is unclear whether he held discussions with Arsenal whilst there.
Now, the defender may have dropped a fresh hint that a move to the Gunners is edging closer.

But it was the contents of the top left corner of the image that made the photo notable.
The post is captioned with the song title 'Gunna: go crazy', with the club's nickname, of course, being the Gunners.
Arsenal would certainly be delighted if the deal is to be completed, with Arteta desperately trying to sign a versatile defender this summer. Timber can play at right-back and centre-back.

Dropping the latest update on the transfer saga on Monday, Romano tweeted: "Arsenal have submitted second official proposal to Ajax in order to get Jurrien Timber deal done this week.
"Talks advancing between clubs after £30m opening bid rejected. Personal terms agreed last week on five year contract."
