Liverpool sit 10th in the Premier League.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is s a 'broken man' who 'feels shame' about the club's current Premier League form, according to a body language expert.

The Reds slipped to a 3-2 defeat against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon and are tenth in the Premier League table.

It's the first time in Klopp's seven-year reign serious questions are being asked, which is taking a toll on the German coach according to body language guru Darren Stanton.

He said on behalf of OLBG: "It is known that Jurgen Klopp has always been an expressive and emotional man over his managerial years at Liverpool.

"We see him place his hands on his knees whilst he's in a very wide gesture. That is the body's attempt to look confident and powerful, because the more space we occupy, the more powerful we perceive ourselves."

Klopp wears his heart on his sleeve, often giving his honest opinion on situations. Stanton believes Klopp is attempting to hide his displeasure with Liverpool's form in press conferences.

He continued: "However, this emotion is contradicted by Klopp's words as he's trying to convey confidence that generally everything is okay, but we see micro-expressions of sadness.

"The micro-expressions are flickers that happen in less than a fifth of a second. These flickers show the true insight of what someone is experiencing, so at this moment, Jurgen Klopp is very much a broken man in the respect of his resilience, confidence and patience."

Stanton then added Klopp feels a sense of 'shame' after failing to turn Liverpool's form around.

"Klopp also flashes shame because he feels a degree of responsibility for the position Liverpool are in right now," he added.

"When someone drops their head down, as Jurgen does, it's in desperation and when it moves to either the left or the right, it means the person is experiencing the emotion of shame."

Gabriel Martinelli gave Arsenal the lead inside 58 seconds at the Emirates Stadium, before Darwin Nunez drew Liverpool level.

Bukayo Saka restored the home side's lead on the stroke of halftime, but Roberto Firmino brought Liverpool level once again.

Saka scored from the penalty spot after Gabriel Jesus was brought down by Thiago in the area to seal all three points.
