Jurgen Klopp showed he's got the mentality required to lead Liverpool to the quadruple with his response to a question about Manchester City.
The Reds defeated Newcastle United 1-0 on Saturday afternoon thanks to Naby Keita's first half strike to keep pace with City at the top of the Premier League.

City would play later in the day, defeating Leeds United 4-0 to go top once again, but Klopp had his mind on other things.
BT Sport asked Klopp about his side's domestic rivals and he replied: "No, to Villarreal. They are 2-1 down, playing at the moment [versus Alaves]. That’s what I’m interested in.
"I haven't thought a second until now about City, but immediately about Villarreal."

Liverpool are in the Champions League semi-finals and emerged 2-0 winners from their first leg with Villarreal on Wednesday.
Unai Emery's side are seventh in La Liga but defeated Juventus and Bayern Munich en route to their first last four appearance in 16 years.
Klopp knows the trouble they can cause at home and later admitted preparations for the second leg started moments after the final whistle at St. James' Park.
He explained per Liverpool Echo: "We finished the game and the analysts were in the dressing room and we’re asking how Villarreal are playing.

"They play now as well, were 2-1 down and made changes as well. That’s our life.
"Yeah, we’re excited. I love this football team and we go into the next one and try to be as good as possible but that’s it pretty much. It’s a very good situation for us. The games we still have to play, it’s a lot. With or without a Champions League final, it’s a lot.
"I'm very excited but not because of the prospect of winning something, because I never understood that. We are just concerned about winning the next game."

Liverpool know they're only a few games away from making their quadruple dream a reality.
They've already won the Carabao Cup and will face Chelsea in the FA Cup final next month.
It's likely they'll make the Champions League final and set up a date in Saint-Denis with either City or Real Madrid.

Liverpool have four league games left and will be hoping City drop points.
It was announced on Thursday that Klopp had signed a contract extension to keep him at Anfield until 2026.
The 54-year-old's previous deal was set to expire in 2024 and there were fears he'd walk away.
