Jude Bellingham prefers a move to Real Madrid over Liverpool, but there is a major obstacle in the way of a transfer to Los Blancos, according to reports in Spain.
The 19-year-old has been the star of England’s World Cup and is quickly establishing himself as one of the best footballers in the world.
In the Three Lions’ round-of-16 tie against Senegal, Bellingham ran the game for England.

Indeed, his role in England’s first goal was record-breaking. By setting up Jordan Henderson’s opener, Bellingham became the first teenager in the World Cup knockout stages to provide an assist since at least 1966 - because that’s as far back as Opta’s records go.
Then, Bellingham’s role in England’s second goal had the nation purring. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder leapt onto a loose ball, set off on a barraging run through the AFCON champions’ midfield, and weighted a perfect pass to Phil Foden, who then set up Harry Kane to score.
Of course, the teenager was one of the most sought-after midfielders in world football even before the World Cup began, with Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City all competing for his signature.
On the continent, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also registered an interest, with the latter believed to be in pole position according to a fresh report.
Bellingham to Real Madrid
According to AS La Liga and Champions League holders, Real Madrid will try to sign Bellingham next summer.

The Spanish publication also claims that Bellingham would prefer a move to Los Blancos over a return to England.
However, a major sticking point will be the teenager’s price.
While Dortmund are reportedly resigned to losing the 19-year-old, the Bundesliga club are allegedly asking for €150 million (£129 million) for the player - a price tag that could prove to be a “problem” for Real.
In turn a move to Premier League giants Liverpool, United or City may be more feasible.
