A Sky Sports journalist has dropped a major update on the future of Jude Bellingham as Liverpool reportedly eye up Brighton’s Moises Caicedo as an alternative.
Bellingham is one of the most sought-after midfielders in world football and is reportedly being eyed up by Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Liverpool, whose midfield is in serious need of rejuvenation, have been linked with the England star for months.

The 19-year-old won't come cheap, however - Bellingham’s performances for Borussia Dortmund and England have reportedly seen him valued at €150million (£129million).
Bellingham to Liverpool?
Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed the Reds are “doing everything” to try and sign the Birmingham-born midfielder, whose current Dortmund deal runs to 2025.
He added that if Liverpool were to miss out on Bellingham they would turn their attention to Brighton and Ecuador midfielder Caicedo.

Plettenberg tweeted: “As reported: Liverpool is doing everything and Klopp is pushing a lot!
“Internal saying: Bellingham first! Caicedo is an alternative. Liverpool is highly rated from the player.
“But nothing decided yet. LFC won’t pay every price. Dortmund expects between €100-150m!”
Bellingham has impressed on his World Cup debut, having even netted England’s opening goal of the tournament in a 6-2 mauling of Iran.

Meanwhile, Caicedo has also caught the eye in Qatar, having netted in Ecuador’s 2-1 loss to Senegal.
The 21-year-old holding midfielder, who could be an ideal long-term heir to Fabinho, has also been linked with Chelsea and Man Utd.
