The pair had to be separated by their teammates after becoming involved in a heated exchange when Arsenal were awarded a late penalty for a foul on Gabriel Jesus.
Referee Michael Oliver received a complaint from the Arsenal defender over something Henderson is alleged to have said during the confrontation.
After the players had been separated, Oliver went to the touchline to speak with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

In the clip, uploaded to YouTube by the account Tasty Football, the two sets of players can be seen shaking hands at the end of the game.
Liverpool captain Henderson hugs his England teammate Bukayo Saka before approaching Gabriel.
The pair shake hands and the Brazilian initially gives Henderson a thumbs up. But the Arsenal man appears to react angrily when the Liverpool midfielder attempts to speak to him, pulling his arm away.
The pair then appear to exchange words, with Liverpool manager Klopp shaking his finger in the direction of Gabriel.

Both Henderson and Gabriel were spoken to after the match with The Times claiming they were "asked for their observations" about the incident.
The report claims that Gabriel is "insisting he heard something on the pitch" and now a "lip reader is likely to be employed to try to support the complaint as has happened in previous cases".
The FA investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
