Jamie Carragher was forced to eat his words on Saturday night, after he ruled Real Madrid out winning the Champions League months ago.
There's no doubt that very few people could have predicted Real winning their 14th European title earlier this season, in fact even against Liverpool in the final they were underdogs.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have had it pretty tough all the way through the knockout rounds, having been paired with PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City on their way to Paris.
Ahead of the first knockout round, discussing the chances of each team in the CBS Studio, Carragher believed only four teams could win the competition this season.
Thierry Henry had named Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich as the teams to beat and his co-pundit agreed, "There’s nobody else who can win the competition, it’s only those four teams, nobody else is good enough," Carra claimed.
He then turned to Micah Richards to ask what the former City defender thought, and Richards couldn't rule out Carlo Ancelotti's team.

"I’m not sure. I think we need to show a bit more respect to Real Madrid.
"They’ve won it 13 times, have a great manager in [Carlo] Ancelotti, they’ve been there and done it, [Karim] Benzema’s in the form of his life, Vinicius Jr as well, so don’t discount Real Madrid just yet."
The former Liverpool defender then placed a bet with Richards that Los Blancos would not win the Champions League at the end of the season.
After full time on Saturday it was time to pay up for the Liverpool legend, who was reminded of his words live on tv, before handing over €260.
At least he wasn't the only former Reds player doing punditry on Saturday that ended up slightly embarrassing themselves, with Michael Owen also giving it a go.

After Vinicius Junior's goal had earned Real the title of champions of Europe, Owen claimed that Jurgen Klopp's team were still the best team in the continent.
Rio Ferdinand then reminded him that the team had lost the league and the Champions League in the space of a week, so it's a difficult title for them to hold.
Still, at least it didn't cost him €260!
