One of the Premier League's greatest ever stories happened on January 19 2019 when James Milner was sent off by his PE teacher.
In a pulsating 4-3 win over Crystal Palace, Milner received two yellow cards for consecutive late challenges on on Wilfried Zaha.
Milner headed straight down the tunnel as soon as the red card was brandished.

But this was no ordinary dismissal. Incredibly, Jon Moss, who had no choice but to send Milner off, taught Milner PE many years ago.
As a youngster, before he made his Leeds United debut at the age of 16, Milner attended Westbrook Lane Primary school in Horsforth.
Moss, who refereed for the final time in the Championship play-off final last month, was a teacher there.

He also managed the primary school football team captained by Milner and there's a brilliant squad photo with them both present.
Milner appears to be the golden boy of the group and is holding the football in the picture, with coach Moss stood at the back in his Adidas tracksuit.
We're pretty sure it was the first and only instance of a teacher sending off his former pupil has to be a first in the Premier League.

And you have to say it has the makings of an absolute gem of a pub quiz question.
Milner was 33 at the time but still wasn't too big and clever for a bit of punishment from Mr Moss.
While Milner is continuing his playing career after signing a new deal with Liverpool, Moss is hanging up his whistle.

He was given a signed shirt by Leicester City for his final Premier League fixture, hilariously complete with the message, "Thanks for retiring" on the back.
Moss has his own independent record shop in Headingley, Leeds and its 'Vinyl Whistle' name is simply genius.
