Liverpool vice-captain James Milner couldn’t hold back his excitement after winning the coin toss ahead of his side’s penalty shootout with Chelsea on Sunday.
The Reds and Chelsea played out a thrilling 90 minutes at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final, with neither side able to break the deadlock in regular playing time.
Chelsea and Liverpool subsequently played through a 0-0 scoreline in extra-time to send the final to an exhilarating penalty shootout.

Footage has now emerged of the coin toss between Milner and Chelsea captain Jorginho, with eagle-eyed fans spotting the Liverpool star’s brilliant reaction.
Following the coin toss from Stuart Attwell, Milner could be seen giving a little first pump before turning to Jorginho and giving him a cheeky smirk.
Milner, 36, stepped up for the first spot-kick and comfortably beat Kepa Arrizabalaga to put his side into the early lead.

Kepa, who came off the bench to replace Edouard Mendy, failed to save a single Liverpool penalty and also smashed his spot-kick effort over the crossbar.
Liverpool lifted a record ninth League Cup title after the Chelsea shot-stopper missed, with a total of 21 penalties taken in the nail-biting shootout.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp opted to stick with Caoimhin Kelleher for the important Carabao Cup clash ahead of Liverpool No 1 Alisson.
Speaking after the final, Klopp praised the 23-year-old Irish shot-stopper and hailed him as the “best number two in the world.”

He explained: “It's quite a story from when I saw him first time as a boy and the man he is today, he is an incredible talent.

“Kelleher is the best number two in the world. He had an incredible game. The life of a number two is you just have to be ready when you are called and the game he played tonight was absolutely incredible.
“I can remember at least two incredible saves, probably more, so he proves that the decision to line him up was absolutely right, and then in a very spectacular shootout he showed the whole range of his skillset.”
