Jack Grealish Accused Of Being Disrespectful After Bizarrely Taunting Miguel Almiron At Man City's Title Parade

Jack Grealish said Riyad Mahrez played like Miguel Almiron against Aston Villa.

Miguel Almiron was bizarrely taunted by Jack Grealish, who said Riyad Mahrez played like the Newcastle United player during Manchester City's dramatic victory over Aston Villa last weekend.

Grealish, who didn't come off the bench in his side's 3-2 win over Villa, looked worse for wear at Man City's title parade on Monday.

He savagely took aim at Bernardo Silva as he thanked him for coming off the pitch against Villa and hilariously poked fun at Kyle Walker.

But it wasn't just his teammates on his radar as the £100 million randomly called out Newcastle's Almiron.

In a video with Silva, the England international revealed the 'secrets' behind their thrilling win on the final day of the Premier League season.

In doing so, he mocked the Paraguayan midfielder - saying Mahrez played like him before being substituted in the 56th minute.

Well, Grealish ridiculing Almiron has not gone down well on social media, with Newcastle fans laying into the Man City star.

What Grealish said about Almiron is not only very disrespectful, it is also just plain rude and highly unprofesional.

That footage of @JackGrealish bad mouthing Almiron doesn’t come across well.

Yes, #MCFC are obviously better than #NUFC.

But another pro shouldn’t be saying stuff like that about another. Even when utterly drunk.

Just a gentle reminder to Jack Grealish that he has played 200 mins more than Almiron this season and only has 2 more goals... that's playing in a Man C team that has scored more than double the goals NUFC have this season.
You need to pull your weight Jack lad.#NUFC #MCFC

I’d rather play like Almiron than act like Grealish 👍 #NUFC

Always been a fan of Grealish but when you bring Miguel Almiron into it for no reason I will lose respect for you. There is no need, the kid has only just got his confidence back. #nufc #mcfc

One tweeted: "Bit weird to disrespect a fellow pro when you’ve more than likely never spoke a word to Almiron… beer fear pending for Grealish."

A second wrote: "Of all the people he chose ALMIRON to call out? Our lovely happy smiling Miggy?! Rent free is all I’ll say."

A third added: "Don’t understand why Grealish had to compare Mahrez to Almiron by slagging him off, that sounds very unprofessional."

A fourth commented: "Bringing up Almiron is weird I can’t lie."

Did Grealish cross the line? Let us know.
