Jack Grealish has revealed what made him choose his now iconic look of having his socks rolled down low, and it's a pretty simple explanation.
There's a lot about the 'Grealish look' that has made him one of current football's most instantly recognisable and iconic players, on and off the pitch.

It's no wonder that Gucci have paid him a seven figure sum to become their latest official ambassador, especially after his £100 million move to Manchester City last summer made him an even bigger name.
Amongst the player's look are his socks which don't get pulled up high up to the knee, like most footballers, but instead stay down near his ankles.
Now the former Aston Villa forward has explained exactly why he prefers to wear his socks like that.
"That was just something that I’ve done since I was a kid," the City star told the UEFA website ahead of Wednesday night's clash with Atletico Madrid.

"I think I was about 14 or 15 at Villa, and the socks used to shrink in the wash. In training, I couldn’t get [them] over my calves because the socks were so small.
"I started wearing them underneath my calves in training and that season I ended up playing really well. It was just something that stuck because I’d had such a good season."
Grealish's calves are a topic of conversation on their own, and are often fawned over, and who can blame the fawners, for their size and majesty.

Some might have expected them to be the reason that Grealish wears his socks so low, after all it must be tough to get them over those legs.
However, as well as that not being the case, the 26-year-old also revealed that they're all natural and he doesn't even work on them.
"Do I do anything to maintain my calves?" Grealish added, "I actually don't. It's just something that runs in the family; my grandad always had big calves when he used to play football.
"Honestly, it's just something that I've had since I was young."

At least now the Atletico Madrid players will know exactly why Grealish's socks are so low, when City face Diego Simeone's side in the second leg of the Champions League quarter final on Wednesday.
In the first leg, Grealish was a late substitute but still managed to rattle two Atleti players in quick succession, presumably as they discussed the matter of his socks!
The England internationals stats haven't been that great since he moved from Villa Park last summer, but Pep Guardiola isn't too bothered.

Guardiola even argued recently that everyone is too 'obsessed' with stats, as he defended the work of his relatively new signing, and how happy he was with it.
