Jack Grealish has signed the most lucrative boot deal for a British footballer after his previous contract with Nike ended.

Grealish is one of the most marketable players in the Premier League, thanks to his superstar talent and his £100 million move to Manchester City in 2021.

The 28-year-old attacker already has endorsements with Gucci, Bose headphones and Airwayz, but now he has signed a five-year boot deal with Puma that is reportedly worth 'considerably more' than his previous arrangement with Nike.

The Daily Mail say Grealish is to pocket £10 million-per-season wearing Puma.

Grealish and the US sportswear giant parted ways at the beginning of the year, prompting Grealish to wear a blacked-out version of his Nike Phantom GX boots during City's 4-2 win against Tottenham in January.

Grealish debuted his Puma Future Ultimate Supercharge boots against Nottingham Forest last month, and he joins Antoine Griezmann, Christian Pulisic and Neymar in Puma's stable of stars.

The deal represents a significant moment for Puma too; the German manufacturer signed a 10-year kit deal with City in 2019 worth a reported £65m per season.

Johan Adamsson, Head of Sports Marketing at Puma Global, said, "We want to make Jack one of the most important brand faces in football and culture.

"His position opens up opportunities to work with many of our fashion initiatives and to collaborate with him on his many personal causes."

Speaking about the deal, Grealish said he's focused on achieving his goals wearing his new boots.

"I've got a Premier League medal but I want to win as many trophies as possible and be successful here at City," he said.

"I said before that when I was young [my dream] was to play for Aston Villa. Once I conquered that I had another dream, then another one.

"It was never really to play at a World Cup, it was just to play for Villa, then score for Villa, then the next thing, then it turned to playing for England, then playing at the Euros, at the World Cup, scoring at the World Cup.

"Luckily enough, I've been fortunate to have done all of those. Next in line would be to win a major trophy with the national team, and the Champions League."
