Mark Clattenburg gets whipped by IShowSpeed at Sidemen charity match

The streamer enjoyed a chaotic debut at the game, as he also wiped out KSI within the first few seconds.

The 2022 Sidemen Charity match provided plenty of entertainment with 15 goals shared between the two teams, but one player in particular stole the show with some eye-catching antics.

IShowSpeed, or 'Speed' as he is known to many, laid down the gauntlet almost immediately, by taking out KSI with a less-than-clean tackle seconds into the game.

However, that wasn't to be the American streamer's (who has 11.2 million YouTube subscribers) most viral moment of the game.

Seemingly unaware of the offside rule in football, Speed was played through on goal in the second half before finishing nicely slotting the ball into the left corner of the net.

The 17-year-old then emulated his hero Cristiano Ronaldo by launching into his famous 'SIUU' celebration - only to have it spoiled by the assistants flag.

Incensed, Speed proceeded to take off his shirt, and start chasing down former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg. He then does what no professional footballer ever managed to do (although we suspect plenty considered it down the years) and whipped the official with his shirt.

Clattenburg was good natured about it, although Speed did pick up a yellow card for his dissent.

It was a memorable debut from Speed, who also had a hand in the opening goal of the game, after his recovery tackle led to Chunkz's rocket from 30 yards.

In the end, Sidemen beat the YouTube All-stars 8-7 at Charlton Althletic's Valley Stadium, with Miniminter scoring a last-ditch winner.

It was a triumphant return for the Sidemen Charity Match, which hadn't taken place since 2017. By the end of the game, over £1 million had been raised for various selected charities, including the Campaign Against Living Miserably and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

As for Speed, he seemingly isn't in the mood to forgive and forget just yet. After the match was over, he vented his frustrations at Clattenburg.

As the The Mirror reports, right after the game he stated in an interview: “Oh my god! So much anger built inside of me you know. I’m mad bro. Who is that ref? Are you even a Premier League ref bro? That’s a clear goal, they just hating. I’m very p****d off right now bro."

His afternoon can be best summed up as an absolutely chaos cameo, but Speed certainly stole the show for the two million people watching live online.

We suspect this wont be the last time we see him grace a football pitch - lets just hope he's mastered the offside rule by then.
